Environmental Policy

It is intended that all installation work by Rain, Wind and Sun will be carbon neutral and we are working hard towards that aim. We have a research team dedicated to identifying alternative materials and products from ethical, environmentally friendlier and low carbon sources. We are also looking at our working methods and at the waste streams that we produce so that we can identify reduce, re-use and recycling possibilities.

Health and Safety Policy

This is the Health and Safety Policy Statement of: the Rain Wind and Sun Company Limited. It is the duty of the Director, General Manager and Supervisors to monitor progress in Health and Safety:

Waste Management Policy

As with all businesses Rain Wind Sun generates waste and has to store, handle and recover or dispose of it on an ongoing basis. Because of this Rain Wind Sun is actively working towards a zero waste policy in all our areas of operation.

To achieve this we will:

There is a legal requirement for all who produce, keep or dispose of waste of any type to comply with the various regulations and the Duty of Care under Environmental Protection legislation.

Rain Wind Sun will apply a ‘waste hierarchical approach’, to reduce, reuse, recycle and recover waste products in preference to the disposal of waste to landfill and we recognise the importance of meeting these legal requirements and to manage waste responsibly, reduce the volume of waste sent to landfill and to maximise reuse and recycling where possible.

This policy applies to all activities undertaken by (or on behalf of) Rain Wind Sun and including its staff, contractors and suppliers.
